Foundation - 1820
First Baptist Church Elba was established on June 20, 1820 and has remained a pillar in the community of Elba New York ever since.
Fire - 1849
First Baptist Church Elba burned to the ground on the evening of January 7, 1849. The faithful membership met the next morning planning to rebuild it in the same spot. That’s just what they did. The building pictured here in a 1970 was built on the same spot and has remained to this day.

Future - 2024
On June 20, 2020 FBC Elba turned 200 years old. Pastor Michael Davis and his family have been tasked to find God’s direction for this church to be here for another 200 years. They are excited to see what God has in store and hope you join the excitement with a focus on Christ, Church, and Community. Here is the church building in present day as it stands with some additions and renovations.
